This last week has been kind of long and rather boring. I’ve spent most of it at work..

• Friday January 29nd: I forgot to take a picture! I was so upset when I realised the next morning! That said, I’m not giving up! I’ve decided to continue with my daily picture taking and my new end date for project completion will be the January 30th next year…
• Saturday January 30th: Adam’s birthday! For his present I took him on an open vehicle adventure at the Werribee Open Range Zoo! It was awesome getting to see the animals so close. I’ll post some more pictures from the day when I have a chance!
• Sunday January 31st: The very cool mask Adam and I got at Cirque du Soleil last year. It currently sits up on the corner of my pinboard.
• Monday Febuary 1st: Walking through Melbourne Central on my way to catch a train home.
• Tuesday Febuary 2nd: My lovely coffee mug. Was a Christmas present from my flatmate/Adam’s sister K. It’s from an awesome stationary concept store called Typo. They have some really cute stuff.
• Wednesday Febuary 3rd: Waiting at Flinders Street for a train home.
• Thursday Febuary 4th: My flat black shoes are getting kind of tatty. I need to find some time to go shopping for some new ones.

• Friday January 22nd: Amanda with Mario! Taken just after work in the city on our way out for the evening!
• Saturday January 23rd: Lunch in Chinatown with Amanda & Adam before heading to check out the exhibitions at ACMI (Australian Centre for the Moving Image).
• Sunday January 24th: Chewie with his death stare on. He was a little upset cause I woke him up…
• Monday January 25th: Chilling out in bed spending some quality time with my laptop.
• Tuesday January 26th: Australia Day!!! The boy and I celebrated by donning stupid Aussie sunglasses and heading to Big Day Out.
• Wednesday January 27th: My sunburn (result of Big Day Out). It doesn’t seem to matter how much sunscreen I use, I still manage to get burnt!
• Thursday January 28th: Yummy noodles for dinner!

I should have posted these earlier but I’ve been a little busy. Weekend shennigans, Australia Day and Big Day Out have consumed my last week or so, but more on that later. I promise. For now, here are last weeks photos. Better late than never! :)

• Friday January 15th: Lunch (& drinks) at the Belgian Beer Garden.
• Saturday January 16th: Hi, I’m Nadine, and I can’t walk past a Lindt store without buying something.
• Sunday January 17th: Spent the day chillin’ out on my computer. I really need to clean up my desk and buy a proper monitor stand to replace the cardboard box I’m using.
• Monday January 18th: My jewellery tree from Ikea, it’s kind of awesome.
• Tuesday January 19th: The boy and I went to the St Kilda Openair Cinema. (500) days of Summer was such a good movie. The soundtrack was also quite lovely. First item off the 101 in 1001 list!
• Wednesday January 20th: Keiko is so adorable in the morning. Such a silly little kitty!
• Thursday January 21st: My adorable new make-up bag. I needed something small that could fit in my handbag and I found this beauty at Target for only $10.

• Friday January 8th: Almost forgot to take a picture! Hence, it’s just Chewie sitting on the bed as I was getting ready for sleep.
• Saturday January 9th: Keiko vegitating outside in the heat.
• Sunday January 10th: First BBQ of the year!
• Monday January 11th: The heat was freaking crazy! 43.6 degrees celcius (about 110 farenheit)! I don’t even like slurpees all that much but we needed something to cool down.
• Tuesday January 12th: The boy had dinner ready for me when I got home from work! ♥
• Wednesday January 13th: My most favourite poster ever. It features the oh so awesome penguins from Madagascar. I picked it up for a couple of dollars at one of those dodgy cheap $2 stores a couple of years ago.
• Thursday January 14th: Tram trip to work! I leave quite early in the morning so I can miss peak hour traffic. I alternate between trains and trams depending on how late I’m running. I prefer the tram even though it takes longer because there are fewer people… :)

I’m attempting to take photo every day this year and I thought I’d share them with you on my blog each week. I’m by no means a photographer but hopefully these posts become something I can look back on and remember 2010 by. :)

• Friday January 1st: I spent the day hanging out at home with the boy and our box obsessed cat.
• Saturday January 2nd: I went on an adventure into the city to buy some new work clothes. I had to stop at the world’s most awesome cupcake place on the way. If you’re ever in Melbourne, make sure you visit Little Cupcakes. Their cream cheese iced chocolate cupcakes are delicious!
• Sunday January 3rd: The Christmas tree was packed away.
• Monday January 4th: Visited my cousin after work. The picture is of an awesome shopping bag from Green with Envy she had sitting on her wardrobe.
• Tuesday January 5th: My walk home from work.
• Wednesday January 6th: Pub trivia with old friends!
• Thursday January 7th: I can’t believe my supermarket is stocking Easter Eggs already.
