I know I should stop spamming you good people of the internet with cat photos. However, I couldn’t resist… Keiko is just so gosh darn cute sometimes!

I'm Nadine. A twenty something year old Australian multimedia developer/student. This blog houses my random musings about life, the universe and everything. You can read more about me & nadinerine.com here.
You can check out the list of 101 tasks I'm completing over 1001 days here.

For today’s entry? Another list! Just a random compilation of things I have swimming around in my head. Thanks to a busy workload lately, I think I’ve forgotten how coherent thought works and have actually started to think in snippets!
D eats the weirdest things. He really does. After a year of living with him, I’ve managed to come to terms with the fact he eats mayonnaise & pineapple on his pizzas and has been known to mix mayonnaise in with left over pasta.
Last night though, he exceeded all my weird eating expectations….
I wandered into the kitchen to find him eating a bowl of spaghetti & meatballs, mixed with leftover chicken wings and topped off with tartare sauce. Icccccccccccccky! I cannot imagine that actually tasting any good!
Question of the week (yes, I’m totally stealing Amanda’s QOTW idea): Is there anything you love to eat that other people find particularly gross?
I’m backkkkkkkkkkkkk from the ski weekend away at Mt Buller!
I think, considering my natural aversion to anything that requires the exertion of energy, I pulled up rather well for the number of times I stacked it. Goodness knows how, but by Sunday morning, I actually managed to make it down an intermediate ski run without killing myself!
Waking up Monday morning my legs and arms were surprisingly fine, however all the muscles in my abdomen still hurt and every time I cough (which is every five seconds thanks to the disgusting cold that’s been haunting me for the better part of the last month) my entire stomach/abdomen aches!
Despite the general achiness that comes from my first attempts at skiing… I’ve decided I actually like snow. And skiing. And snow men. And fondue. And chocolate fondue fountains! I can’t wait to do it all again sometime!
June was busy. As well as moving house, we went to see Karnivool play at the Forum (which was an awesome show) & caught up with several friends for random drink & dinner dates. The realisation? I actually have a social life these days! I really love having more to look forward to than just work and uni.
I get the feeling July is going to be just as crazy as June was. The next big thing I have coming up? I’m heading up to Mt Buller with some friends from work this weekend! I’M GOING TO THE SNOW and I am RIDICUOSLY EXCITED about it. I’ve never seen snow before! I’ve decided I may even attempt the whole ‘skiing’ thing, although I could have a probem as I hear one actually needs coordination to be able to do so! :)
